User Permission Control

Enhanced permission controls allow you to set specific access not only by the role but also for the user

PERMISSION CONTROL

Once logged into your unique Xcelerate environment click on Admin* > Permissions

Screen names menus can be found along the left column and the user role along the top. Each Xcelerate screen name will expand for additional options.

 

*Please contact your internal administrator or Xcelerate support if you need Admin permissions

Note: a gray box means sub screens have been disabled for that screen name.

NOTE: Payroll Timecard is required for users to track time on the mobile app.

CAUTION: Payroll Admin & Payroll Cost Detail grant access to sensitive information and should be removed for most roles.

QUICK TIPS:

  • Edit and deleting notes is turned off by default. Access can be granted to edit and delete notes under the File section

Once adjustments have been made click Update to save the settings

USER ROLE ASSIGNMENT

Navigate to Admin*>User Creation.

Existing users: locate the appropriate user & click edit

Add & remove roles as appropriate for the user & click update

Note: De-select CRM Export if you would like to restrict exports from your CRM

New Users: Under Admin>User Permissions click Add New User

Enter appropriate user details including roll selection and select next

Individual user permissions can be fine-tuned in this last step
